Event Organisation
Maia Consulting has experience and skills in event management. Events organised include international conferences, forums, workshops and meetings, focus groups and interviews for social and market research, arranging and facilitating training sessions, and coordinating community and fundraising events. Our role has been all encompassing requiring staff to liaise with presenters and participants, coordination of venue hire and associated details, mobilisation of volunteers, and fulfilling reporting requirements pre and post event.
Maia Consulting delivers smooth running events, ensuring participants are free to focus on the core business of the event. By meeting participants’ transportation, accommodation, and dietary needs and ensuring the meeting facility is fully operational with working AV equipment and appropriate materials, Maia knows that events will be more productive. In the past we have found small gestures such as directions from the Airport to the Venue, arranging internet access for the participants on-site, a list of local attractions/ restaurants for down time, make the participants more comfortable and able to participate productively.
