Policy
Maia Consulting has many years of experience in assisting in the development of policy in the energy efficiency, health and social welfare sectors. These services have been carried out for State and Federal government departments, hospitals and private associations. Our services relating to policy have included the preparation of Regulatory Impact Statements, developing policy briefs for international committees, reviewing and preparing documents, organising forums and working groups to consult with stakeholders and develop regulatory policy.
The Maia Consulting team has been instrumental in the development of the Australian Government’s Standby Power policy since the issue was recognised in 1999. We have been involved in the baseline research establishing the issue, product profiling to develop a policy strategy, consultation with key stakeholders to raise awareness and explore short comings and development of the regulatory impact statement to legislate policy. Policy services we have provided include:
- Standby Power Project work for the Australian Government;
- Policy Briefs for the 4E Standby Power Annex;
- Maroondah Hospital Tobacco policy, Maroondah hospital.
