Maia Consulting has the skill, experience and resources to meet your training and education needs, whether it is creating materials and tools or organising, coordinating and presenting sessions. The Maia consulting team has been developing and delivering education and training sessions since the 1990s. We use a wide variety of communication tools including formal presentation styles, grab bags techniques, active group participation and audio visual presentations. While most of our sessions have been run face to face with participants, we have also delivered training in a teleconference setting.

The Maia team is able to apply our education and training skills to any subject area. Some of the topics we have covered in our sessions include: research theory and methodology, cross cultural communication, energy efficiency, health promotion theory, environmental issues (climate change and ozone layer), breast feeding, child development, sexual health, tobacco and behaviour change, immunisation, engaging patients, English as a second language & more. The audiences have included high level government officials, academics, medical and allied health professionals, technical experts, patients, students from kindergarten to university level, teachers and parents, refugees, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, prisoners, new parents, grandparents and community groups.
